I am a senior associate professor in the Technical Division of Environmental Management, Science and Technology at the Institute of Energy and Environment – IEE at the University of São Paulo, in São Paulo, Brazil. I have experience in Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing, and I work mainly on the following topics: quality of databases for geographic information systems; orbital remote sensing, geoprocessing, statistical and geostatistical analyzes and classification in digital images with an emphasis on urban, transport and environmental applications. Interested in and researching road safety (road accidents; VRUs) and carsharing; natural accidents and ecosystem services.
